HUB Weekly Update: March 2016

Arts Day on Washington

Spaces are filling up, we have two open for ages 8-11 and 1 more opening for 12yo and up

Cost $30.00 lunch, snack and materials pay at the door.

Tuesday March 22, 2016 Activities 10:15am- 3:15 pm

10:30 am Music in the Morning

11:30 am Music Games & Lunch (gluten free avail.)

12:45 am Class: Composers and Canvas

Music Appreciation mini lesson, then painting acrylic on canvas.

This event would make for a great Moms Day out as a drop off program, or stay and any mom who helps with a table of children will get to paint for free at that table*

The painting session can be broken up into two age groups all painting at the same time but different pictures. The younger children paint the sun, the older students paint the flowers and sun.

Third, the Homeschool HUB is a volunteer organization. We need local homeschool support to continue to function. Please consider helping out. You can serve on the board, teach a class, organize a play group, organize a field trip, teach a one-night workshop (on anything--cooking pizza, using Prezi or MS Word, painting, martial arts, dog breeds, Chinese culture...), throw a party, host a Shakespeare club, give a talk, or anything else you can think of. If you're interested in something, chances are another homeschooler will be, too.
