[homeschoolhub] Time Travel for Tots?

Homeschoolers,

What do y'all have planned for next Saturday, November 17, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.?  Is it novel?  Is it educational?  Is it fun for the whole family?

My daughters, Blake and Veronica, are members of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe.  Members dress in the clothing of Medieval and Renaissance, and attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes and workshops and more.  Blake likes making her own armor and competing in the "heavy fighting" tourneys.  Veronica prefers wearing her renaissance dresses and singing period music.

I've been letting my beard grow out of control for more than 8 months because Blake asked me to play "Medieval St. Nicholas" this Saturday for a Toys-for-Tots fundraiser entitled "the St. Nicholas Tourney for Tots."
