Re: [homeschoolhub] Daisy Scouts

American Heritage girls is another option.  It was started as an alternative to Girl Scouts once Girl Scouts started promoting some things that offend people and took God out of their pledge and program.  From my understanding, it is like Girl Scouts used to be--about crafts, friendships, character, nature, camping, etc., without the stuff some people object to.

You can check for a local troop or start one.

Hi folks -

The Boy Scout post reminded me. We have a daughter that will be kindergarten age next year and wants to participate in Daisy Scouts. Is there an established HS troop we could join? If not, is there interest if I (along with others) would begin one?

Thanks,
Laura
