A friend is looking for high school classes for an academically-gifted student. Classes that are taught "live" over the internet or recorded with access to a teacher for questions would be great.
The student has health problems that cause unpredictable episodes of tiredness, so he needs flexibility.
I have some experience with math and science courses offered by Indiana University South Bend. Those courses seem to be challenging and thorough, but most of the learning comes from reading books or on-line materials. The teacher is available only to respond to written questions.
What other options are out there?
