I very consciously try to keep HS activities during the day, ideally ending before 4 pm. However, many programs require the addition of public schooled children to be economically viable, and so have to be scheduled accordingly. Lego Robotics at the Niles District Library is an example. It's on a Saturday morning, in the interest of making it accessible to enough children to justify the expenditure.
