Who would like to help decorate the Potawatomi Zoo for this great new event. This will be going on during Zoo-Boo. The service groups who volunteer will be assigned a section of the Zoo to decorate with carved pumpkins. From Thursday October 25 to Sunday October 28th over 12,000 people will see your creations.
There are only ten spots available! Groups that help the first year will have priority next year. This is going to be the #1 tourist event in South Bend in future years.
I called and talked to the man in charge about this for my Girl scouts. I would like to know if the entire Michiana area Homeschoolers would like to carve a pumpkin and have a spot? All I would need is a definite yes that you will be there with a pumpkin and a few hours of time to help at your convenience during the day of the 23 and or the 24th prior to the event. I only need a head count so that he knows how much room to set aside. Anyone interested?
